Administration For Community Living Awards Arkansas $1.3 Million Grant For Caregiver Respite Services
The federal Administration for Community Living awarded the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) a grant of $1.3 million to fund respite care for full-time family caregivers through its Arkansas Lifespan Respite Care program. Caregivers can access funding to hire respite caregivers or pay for specialized respite programs. The services are available statewide through a network of community organizations who partner with DHS and the Lifespan Respite program.
