Anthem recently announced it is partnering with American Well to offer American Well’s telehealth services—LiveHealth Online—to consumers with Anthem’s Samsung Health app. Anthem sees the collaboration as one that furthers its efforts to invest in innovation and digital capabilities that advance access to health care for consumers.

LiveHealth Online will grant Anthem’s members the ability to connect to board-certified clinical professionals for non-emergency medical care, such as help for colds, the flu, or allergies. The telehealth service also allows users access to live video chat clinical professionals.
