Banner University Health Plans Used The Pyx Health Engagement Platform To Address Member Loneliness & Reduce High Cost Utilization

Banner University Health Plans (BUHP) use of the Pyx Health interactive chatbot platform to provide post-discharge support to individuals at-risk of social isolation resulted in lower subsequent inpatient costs and emergency department use. The Pyx Health platform connects at-risk individuals outside of the traditional care setting to provide critical and timely interventions that address their behavioral health needs and overcome their social barriers to care.
