Berkshire Health Systems Chooses Meditech In EHR Selection Decision

Massachusetts-based health system Berkshire Health Systems (BHS) recently announced it has selected MEDITECH as its new electronic health record (EHR) provider. As a result of the selection, BHS will be implementing Expanse—MEDITECH’s EHR system—across all 225 of its clinical professional practices.

In addition to Expanse, BHS plans to also implement MEDITECH’s Ambulatory and Acute Care systems throughout its numerous practices. BHS leadership cited MEDITECH EHR systems’ flexibility as a key reason for BHS’s selection of them, as well as their easy accessibility from a variety of mobile and web-based platforms.
