CVS Opens Mock Stores To Train Individuals With Disability

CVS recently announced that it will open at least eight mock stores in efforts to hire people with disabilities. CVS recently opened one of the mock stores at the Arkansas Career Training Institute in Hot Springs, Ark.

Each mock store includes equipment that is characteristic of a typical CVS location. People with disabilities will participate in classroom and hands-on training in both life and job-related skills and they will learn tasks required for working in a CVS store or as a pharmacy technician. After completing training, individuals are eligible to apply for employment at CVS.
