Digital Mental Health Companies Ginger & Headspace To Merge In Deal Valued At $3 Billion
Ginger and Headspace, which both provide digital mental health and wellness services, announced plans to merge to create a company valued at $3 billion. The combined entity will operate as Headspace Health. It will provide a spectrum of virtual support, from mindfulness and meditation, to text-based behavioral health coaching, to video-based therapy and psychiatry.
Headspace Health will be led by Ginger’s current chief executive officer (CEO), Russell Glass. CeCe Morken, CEO of Headspace, will become president for the combined entity. The combined entity will reach nearly 100 million lives across 190+ countries through direct-to-consumer business . . .
