Gracious Grounds Plans Michigan Apartment Complex For Residents With Intellectual Disabilities 

Michigan-based non-profit Gracious Grounds is raising funds to build a 77-unit apartment complex designed for adults with intellectual disabilities in the city of Grand Haven. The project has an expected budget of $17.5 million, with $15 million coming from Michigan’s State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA).;

Gracious Grounds is seeking additional funding for the other $2.5 million to complete the development. Those funds will be used for capital expenses not covered by MSHDA and to provide programs and services for residents. Gracious Grounds started in 2013 and now offers housing and support to 45 . . .
