Kara Health & Palomar Health System Launch Hospice, Palliative Care Joint Venture

Kara Health, a hospice and palliative care provider organization in California, launched a joint venture with the Palomar Health System in San Diego County, California. The venture will operate under the Palomar brand as Palomar Health Palliative & Hospice Care.

Through this new partnership, Palomar Health Palliative & Hospice Care will allow consumers to stay within the Palomar Health system when dealing with serious illness. The joint venture is anticipated to provide greater coordination and collaboration between clinical teams in all settings, from inpatient to outpatient to the consumer’s home.
