Marshfield Clinic Health System Acquires Two Hospitals From Ascension Wisconsin

On August 1, 2020, Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) acquired Ascension St. Clare’s Hospital and Ascension Wisconsin’s 50% interest in Flambeau Hospital. The transaction also included Ascension Wisconsin’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center. Financial terms have not been disclosed. St. Clare’s Hospital will be rebranded as Marshfield Medical Center-Weston, and Flambeau Hospital will be rebranded as Marshfield Medical Center-Park Falls. The transition is expected to take place before the end of the year.
