WellCare Health Plans (WellCare) owned MeridianRX recently launched its new innovative mobile phone application. The new free app—Atlas Compass (Compass)—provides Pharmacy benefit Manager (PBM) members with direct, convenient access to their own pharmacy health information.

Some key features of the new app include the ability to search for medications and estimate their costs, allowing consumers to find lower cost alternatives for their treatment. App users are also able to view a history of their filled prescriptions dating back as far as two years. According to MeridianRx leadership, Compass seeks to put consumers in control of their own prescription . . .
