Microsoft To Shut Down Consumer Medical Records Service HealthVault By November
Microsoft recently announced it plans to discontinue its consumer medical records management service, HealthVault. Upon its discontinuation, all health data stored in HealthVault will be deleted.
The service—which will officially no longer be supported beginning November 20, 2019—allows consumers to track medications, health history, blood pressure, fitness, lab results, and several other kinds of health and wellness data. Earlier this year, Microsoft also announced it will be discontinuing support for its Health Dashboard apps and service, as well, which includes those for its Microsoft Band wearable device.
