Syllable.ai (Syllable), the developer of an artificial intelligence (AI) enabled chatbot app for consumers and clinical professionals, recently raised $13.3 million in funding. The funding follows a $4.3 million seed round it completed last March.

The funds will go towards Syllable’s building of a chatbot for health care, which allows common health questions to be answered automatically without the need for human intervention. The HIPAA compliant chatbot also allows provider organizations to acquire consumer data, schedule, and refer their patients to specialists.
