Walmart Acquires CareZone’s Medication Management Platform

Walmart has acquired the technology platform, patents, and key intellectual property of CareZone, a mobile application that offers users a platform to manage medications, health benefits, and health information. Through the CareZone app, users can scan medication labels, and manage benefits by scanning their insurance cards. The goal is to help individuals and families manage medicine and chronic illness for each member of the household. CareZone has over 5 million installs.
