Schick Shadel Launches On-line Counseling Service for Recovering Patients

February 2, 2004 Schick Shadel Launches On-line Counseling Service for Recovering Patients Schick Shadel Hospital, a 48-bed addiction treatment facility in Seattle (Washington), launched an on-line counseling program for post-treatment clients in August 2003. The hospital is one of four programs in the Seattle area that are now using the service, which is offered by eGetgoing.com, a division of CRC Health Group (CRC), a nationwide drug treatment provider. The online counseling sessions include up to ten participants and two counselors, one of whom supervises the meetings via a broadcast from a studio in San Jose . . .
