Children’s Health Fund & Verizon Launch Mobile Telemedicine Clinic For Low Income Children & Families In Miami
On July 25, 2013, the Children’s Health Fund in partnership with the Verizon Foundation launched a telemedicine-enabled, mobile medical clinic in the greater Miami, Florida area to serve homeless and low-income children and their families in underserved communities. The mobile medical clinic in Miami is part of a national Children’s Health Fund initiative that will deploy 15 health information technology-equipped mobile medical clinics with assistance from the Verizon Foundation.
