Massachusetts Awards $525 Million Medicaid Managed Behavioral Health Contract To ValueOptions
On October 17, 2012, ValueOptions announced it had started a new $525 million annual contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to administer and manage the MassHealth Primary Care Clinician (PCC) Comprehensive Behavioral Health Program. The Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership (MBHP), a ValueOptions subsidiary, was the incumbent for this contract. The new contract went live on October 1, 2012 and will run through 2017.
