25.6% Of Veterans With PTSD Quit Therapy Before Resolving Trauma

A full 25.6% of veterans and service members with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) dropped out of treatment before finishing the recommended course of treatment for all PTSD therapies, according to recent analysis. The researchers performed a meta-analysis of 181 studies published between 1994 and 2022. These studies covered 232 PTSD treatments and 124,092 U.S. military participants. The goal was to estimate dropout among specific PTSD treatments in United States military populations.
