Kentucky Considering New Telemedicine Proposal To Cover Remote Patient Monitoring In 2016

In 2016, the Kentucky state legislature will consider a proposal related to Medicaid telemedicine that would cover remote patient monitoring (RPM). The Kentucky legislation would allow Medicaid to cover RPM services for consumers at home and allow telemedicine services to be provided outside of a medical facility. As of January 5, 2016, HB 95 was in the House Committee on Health & Welfare.
