About One-Third Of Surveyed Pennsylvania Child Services Provider Organizations Offered Sign-On Bonuses

Approximately one-third of Pennsylvania child and family services provider organizations responding to a recent statewide survey reported offering sign-on bonuses to attract new hires in 2024. The most common bonus amount was approximately $1,000. Some organizations also reported offering longevity and employee referral bonuses.

Most respondents reported maintaining a standard 40-hour workweek. However, 17% indicated plans to reduce the number of full-time hours per week.
