Arizona Corrections Department Awards $204 Million Health Care Contract To Centurion
On January 22, 2019, the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) awarded Centurion of Arizona, LLC a contract valued at $204.7 million annually, to provide comprehensive inmate health care services at ADC’s 10 state-run prison facilities. The contract goes live on July 1, 2019, and the initial term runs for two years followed by three one-year renewal options. The incumbent is Corizon, which has held the contract since 2013.
