Arkansas Launches Medicaid Demonstration Program For The Expansion Population
On January 1, 2022, the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) launched the new Medicaid Arkansas Health and Opportunity for Me (ARHOME) 1115 waiver program to provide premium assistance to Medicaid beneficiaries in the expansion population. ARHOME replaces the state’s previous Arkansas Works premium assistance program for this population. The waiver is in effect through December 31, 2026.
