Blue Care Network Of Michigan Launches Opioid Addiction Treatment Pilot

On May 1, 2018, Blue Care Network (BCN) of Michigan launched a pilot treatment model for opioid use disorder with two provider organizations. The selected provider organizations are Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services (Pine Rest) near Grand Rapids and the Henry Ford Maplegrove Center (Maplegrove Center) in Bloomfield Hills. The model is called Community-Based Life-Changing Individualized Medically-Assisted Evidence-Based Treatment (CLIMB). The 12-month CLIMB pilot will serve 250 BCN and Blue Care Network Advantage members who receive treatment at either of the participating treatment centers.
