Bosch Healthcare Leaves U.S. Telehealth & Remote Monitoring Market

In June 2015, Robert Bosch Healthcare Systems Inc., announced plans to exit its home telehealth and remote monitoring business in the United States. Commercial sales of Health Buddy, its flagship remote monitoring device, ended on June 15, and support for existing units will end in September 2015. The company also stopped accepting new orders for Health Buddy via its contract with the federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), but will fill orders placed before June 15, 2015. Bosch intends to support the VA contract through April 2016.
