California To Spend Up To $4.6 Billion Over Three Years On Enhanced Medicaid HCBS
On September 3, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) partially approved California’s Department of Health Care Services’ (DCHS’) $4.649 billion proposed home- and community-based services (HCBS) spending plan for the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) 10 percentage point increase to the federal medical assistance percentage (FMAP) for HCBS.
