California’s San Diego County Awards $8.8 Million For Three Probation Residential Treatment Program Contracts

The San Diego County, California, Probation Department selected Amity Foundation; Healthcare Services, Inc. (San Diego Lighthouse Community); and Bethesda Recovery Centers dba Choices in Recovery for contracts valued at $8.8 million to provide residential addiction treatment for people on probation. The contractors will provide residential alcohol and other drug treatment, recovery, and ancillary services for adults. The goal is to facilitate community reentry and prevent relapse and recidivism. The contracts began April 1, 2022 for an initial term through June 30, 2022, followed by four one-year options plus a short-term extension of one to six months.
