Colorado To Launch ‘No Wrong Door’ Regional Pilot To Streamline LTSS Access

Colorado Medicaid is preparing to launch a regional pilot to test a “No Wrong Door” (NWD) model in 2017 to streamline access to to long-term services and supports (LTSS). On November 28, 2016, the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) released a request for proposals (RFP 2017000115) seeking a contractor to pilot the model. Proposals are due by January 30, 2017. The pilot period is expected to begin April 1, 2017 and end on April 1, 2019. The initial contract term lasts one year, followed by renewals in subsequent years.
