Court Certifies Class Action In New Hampshire Lawsuit Over Access To HCBS Waiver Services
A lawsuit against the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) over its operation of the Choices for Independence (CFI) home and community-based services (HCBS) Medicaid waiver has been granted class action status. The CFI waiver serves nearly 3,800 beneficiaries with disabilities who need help with basic activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing¸ or other personal care needs such as meal preparation.
