Department Of Veterans Affairs Restructuring To Focus On Customer Service
The federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is restructuring its operations to focus on customer service. In the plan announced November 10, 2014, VA Secretary Robert McDonald noted that the restructuring will include a single regional framework to be used by all regions, shared internal support services, a national network of Community Veteran Advisory Councils, and a new VA-wide customer service organization. Secretary McDonald did not indicate the VA’s timeline for the restructuring.
