Florida DJJ Terminates Youth Services International Contract For Addiction Treatment At Santa Rosa Center
On August 20, 2014, the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) announced it had terminated its contract with Youth Services International (YSI) to operate the Santa Rosa Substance Abuse Treatment Center because YSI failed to meet contract requirements related to youth safety and welfare. The contract, valued at $11.7 million, had been awarded on November 1, 2013 and was slated to run through October 31, 2018.
