Florida Foster Care Population Up 25% Since 2013
As of June 2015, there were 22,004 children in Florida’s foster care system, up 25% (4,413 children) from 2013 when there were 17,591 children in foster care placements. This is the highest number of children in Florida’s foster care system since 2008.
