General Services Administration To Lead $5.4 Billion Defense Health Information Technology Procurements
For the next seven years, the Defense Health Agency (DHA) will direct new health information technology (HIT) procurement to the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) within the General Services Administration (GSA). The DHA anticipates it will spend an estimated $5.4 billion for critical HIT services and solutions. The GSA is creating a special category on Schedule 70 for HIT so DHA can more easily find products and services, rather than issue separate procurements.
