HHS Disbursed $1.75 Billion In Latest Provider Relief Fund Payments

On April 13, 2022, the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced more than $1.75 billion in Round 5 Provider Relief Fund (PRF) payments. The payments will be made to 3,680 health care provider organizations across the U.S. With this disbursement, HRSA has distributed a total of approximately $13.5 billion from the PRF to nearly 86,000 provider organizations. Since November 2021, HRSA has disbursed nearly $7.5 billion in American Rescue Plan (ARP) Rural payments to more than 44,000 provider organizations
