HHS Releases $49 Million For Medicaid Enrollment Assistance For Families & Children
On July 19, 2022, the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), awarded $49 million in grants to fund outreach to help families enroll eligible uninsured children in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). There are an estimated four million uninsured children who are eligible for Medicaid or CHIP.
