Indiana Selects Anthem, CareSource, MDwise & Centene For Hoosier Healthwise/HIP MCO Contracts

On June 10, 2016, the Indiana Department of Administration announced it had selected proposals submitted by Anthem, CareSource, MDwise, and Centene’s Indiana subsidiary Managed Health Services (MHS) for contracts to provide Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) services for the Hoosier Healthwise/Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) program. The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) has started negotiations with the four organizations.
