Magellan Complete Care Florida Medicaid Contract Goes Live

The Magellan Complete Care integrated physical and behavioral health specialty managed care plan for Florida Medicaid beneficiaries with serious mental illness (SMI) goes live on July 1, 2014.  Magellan Complete Care of Florida will receive a per member per year payment of $15,000 to $20,000; the capitated rate includes integrated behavioral and physical health care services in the state Medicaid plan, as well as pharmacy and transportation needed by members to receive state plan services.

Enrollment will take place regionally starting in July. Full enrollment by December 31, 2014 is estimated to be at least 20,000 beneficiaries . . .
