Massachusetts Medicaid To Launch New ACO Program Pilot By December 2016
By the end of December 2016, the Massachusetts Medicaid program, MassHealth, plans to launch a pilot accountable care organization (ACO) program. By October 2017, MassHealth plans to fully rollout the ACO program. The goal is to move the state from its existing fee-for-service model to an integrated accountable care model.
