Massachusetts Medicaid Picks 18 Provider Organizations For MassHealth ACO Program
On June 8, 2017, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) announced it had selected 18 provider organizations for the Medicaid (MassHealth) accountable care organization (ACO) program that begins January 2018. The 18 ACOs are networks of physicians, hospitals, and other health care provider organizations, including 4,500 primary care professionals, that will provide integrated health care for more than 900,000 Medicaid beneficiaries.
The MassHealth ACOs that have been selected for contract negotiation are as follows:
