The Medicare Physician Fee Schedule for 2026 includes provisions to cover digital mental health treatment (DMHT) devices for attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The final rule was published on October 31, 2025, and is effective January 1, 2026.

The rule applies to DMHT devices intended to provide therapy for ADHD or any of its individual symptoms as an adjunct to clinician-supervised treatment. The eligible devices must be granted De Novo authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or cleared under section 510(k).
