Michiana Health Information Network To Pilot Opioid Treatment Health Information Exchange

On May 1, 2015, the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced that Michiana Health Information Network (MHIN) was selected to launch an opioid treatment program (OTP) service continuity pilot (SCP). For the six-month pilot that runs through September 15, 2015, MHIN will facilitate the exchange of health and dosing information between OTPs and other health care professionals.
