Michigan DHHS Secures Nearly 100 New Juvenile Justice Residential Placements & Embarks On Juvenile Justice Reform

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is preparing to implement juvenile justice reform, and created about 100 new residential placements to clear a waitlist for youth ordered by a court to secure treatment as part of the reform. MDHHS announced the new placements on November 21, 2023.
