Michigan Medicaid & National Kidney Foundation To Test ‘Pay-For-Success’ Model For Diabetes Prevention
On March 20, 2017, the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) announced plans to develop and launch a pay-for-success (PFS) program focused on the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) for Medicaid beneficiaries. The PFS program is slated to launch in July 2018, and will take place in high-risk, urban communities in six counties (Genesee, Kent, Macomb, Muskegon, Oakland, and Wayne) in southeast and western Michigan.
