Mississippi Awards $14.5 Million In Children’s Services Contracts To 10 Organizations
On June 17, 2014, the Mississippi Department of Human Services, Division of Family and Children's Services (DFCS) awarded $14.5 million in contracts to 10 organizations to provide comprehensive therapeutic care (CTC) services. The CTC services are residential, 24-hour placements provided to children in foster care, from birth-21 years, who are diagnosed with cognitive, behavioral, and/or psychological disabilities. The initial contract period began July 1, 2014 and runs through June 30, 2015, followed by renewals for up to two more years.
