Mississippi To Transform Mental Health Crisis Response & Services
Mississippi is implementing new legislation to transform how the state’s criminal justice and mental health systems respond to individuals in mental health crisis. The new focus will create a collaborative response that will include mental health training for law enforcement officers, expanding a court liaison program, and helping families of someone in mental health crisis navigate the court system.
