Corizon Wins $50+ Million Contract For Missouri Corrections Health Services

On June 27, 2014, the Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) awarded a three-year $14 million statewide contract to Corizon Health, LLC to provide medical, mental health care, and pharmacy services to inmates at all 21 Missouri correctional facilities, and two community release centers. The firm, fixed price contract began July 1, 2014 and runs through June 30, 2017, followed by four additional one-year renewal periods. If all renewal options are exercised, the contract value nears $1.1 billion.
