Missouri To Allow Long-Term Care Residents To Install Surveillance Devices
On July 14, 2020, Missouri Governor Mike Parsons signed legislation, House Bills (HB) 1387 and 1492, to allow consumers living in long-term care facilities to install visible electronic surveillance monitoring devices in their rooms. The law applies to residents of skilled nursing, intermediate care, assisted living and residential care facilities.
