Nevada Budget To Cut Mental Health Spending By 3.8% Across 2018-2019 Biennium

The 2017-2019 Nevada Governor’s budget proposal cuts total budgeted Medicaid and state behavioral health expenditures by 3.8%, from $365 million during the 2016-2017 biennium, to $351 million in the 2018-2019 biennium. Actual behavioral health spending in fiscal year 2014-2015 totaled $327 million.
