The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Care Financing and Policy (DHCFP) plans to launch a Medicaid-funded reentry demonstration program. According to a draft copy of the waiver, starting in October 2025, a targeted set of services would be offered Medicaid-eligible justice involved youth and adults during the 90 days prior to their expected release. The services include case management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as clinically appropriate, a 30-day supply of all prescription medications in hand upon release, and other specific pre-release services to assist in improving care transitions for incarcerated individuals . . .
