Nevada To Expand Coordination Only D-SNPs Statewide To All Dual Eligibles
The Nevada Medicaid program plans to move its dual eligible (Medicare and Medicaid) population from fee-for-service (FFS) to statewide coordination-only Medicare Advantage dual eligible special needs plans (CO D-SNPs) starting January 1, 2026. Currently Nevada’s CO D-SNP serves three types of dual eligibles; Full Benefit Dual Eligible (FBDE), Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) and Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Plus (QMB+).
