New Hampshire To Expand Mental Health Services For Residents
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has taken the first step in the expansion of health system capacity, and mobile crisis services and supports for mental health services in the State. On June 14, 2017, the New Hampshire House of Representatives passed House Bill 400 (HB400), requiring the DHHS to develop a 10-year plan for mental health services, including plans for: those subject to involuntary emergency admissions, the Philbrook Center for Children, handling reports of abuse and neglect, establishing a commission to study grandfamilies in New Hampshire, and extending the commission to review child abuse . . .
