New York Announces RFP For Development Of 13 Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics
New York is seeking to establish 13 new Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) across the state to start operations by July 1, 2025. On March 26, 2024, the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), and the Department of Health (DOH), released a request for proposals (RFP) seeking CCBHCs in 10 economic development regions. The state plans to award one-time start-up funds of $265,000 for each new CCBHC. With these awards, the state will have tripled the number of CCBHCs from the 13 in June 2023.
